Finding Friendship Through Karaoke Nights
When Sarah, a young woman with cerebral palsy, joined FWADA, she felt nervous walking into her first Connect & Thrive Meetup. That night, FWADA hosted an open-mic karaoke event — and with the encouragement of new friends, Sarah sang her favorite song for the first time in public.

From Isolation to Inclusion
After losing his vision in his twenties, James became isolated and struggled with depression. A neighbor introduced him to FWADA. Through monthly meetups and educational workshops, James found belonging again. He now helps new members get comfortable at events.
